Welcome
Since 1988, I have been involved in the Montreal Comix scene, spending most of my time writing, scripting and designing comic books and graphic novels. My books have been published both in French and in English.

I have also devoted my time to documentary and art photography, taking pictures regularly since 1983, working on series like Bob Book and more recently, Spirit & Nature. My work as a graphic novelist and working at a "real" job to support my family and my artistic projects took up almost all my time. I continued to take pictures but I could never find the time to print, promote and exhibit them.

For a long time I wanted to create a website that would showcase a selection of my photographic images from the nineties up to today (especially since in the last few years I have seen my artistic interets merge, using photography to illustrate my graphic novels).

This is a bilingual site, although a lot of the texts are written in English, a few texts and comix are in French and so is my blog (detailing the two forthcoming photo/graphic novels I am working on). I have a lot of older negatives I still haven't scanned. Hopefully I will find the time to try and update the site with new pictures.

Bienvenue
Depuis 1988, je suis impliqué dans la bande dessinée d'auteur à Montréal. J'ai été éditeur, scénariste, directeur artistique, rédacteur et graphiste. Mes livres sont publiés au Canada, aux USA et en Europe (en français et en anglais).

En parallèle de ma carrière en bande dessinée, j'ai consacré beaucoups de temps à la photographie documentaire et artistique. Ma collection de négatifs couvre le début des années quatre-vingt jusqu'à aujourd'hui. J'ai aussi travaillé sur des séries d'images comme Bill Bliothèque ou Tarot. Ma dernière exposition solo dans une galerie remonte à 1996. Ce site web fut crée pour diffuser mon travail en tant que photographe avec quelques incursion en territoires BD.

En 2005, j'ai commencé à rédiger des notes et selectionner les images pour ce site. La plupart des textes qui accompagnent les images sont en anglais (il y a quelques textes en français, surtout sur mon travail en bande dessinée). Si je trouve le temps, je les traduirai (tout en ajoutant de nouvelles images). Mon blog est en français, il va couvrir la production de mes deux prochains livres (La Forêt Des Serpents et Like An Acid Trip, 2009) qui vont marier d'une façon originale mes deux passions artistiques : la bande dessinée et la photographie.
